Arsenal's FA Cup Defeat Amplifies Need for New Striker

In the wake of Arsenal's 2-0 defeat to Liverpool in the FA Cup third-round, there's an evident need for Arsenal to sign a proficient striker. Arsenal, despite creating multiple opportunities against Liverpool, lacked clinical finishing. Mikel Arteta, Arsenal's manager, lost leading striker Gabriel Jesus to a knee injury and chose to experiment with Kai Havertz as a central figure. Arteta also highlighted the team's issue with conceding goals from dead ball situations, which has led to five goals against Arsenal in the last eight games across all competitions. Meanwhile, Brentford's Ivan Toney has been identified as a potential solution. Still, financial constraints and Brentford's reluctance to let go midseason might pose a challenge.

Supporters have expressed their impatience by calling Arteta to sign a striker despite his insistence on sticking by the current team.
