Official announcement: Brazil's national team has called up Flamengo defender Fabricio Bruno to replace Eder Militao, who is sidelined with a thigh muscle injury.
The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) announced that Flamengo defender Fabricio Bruno was called up to the national team on Sunday. He replaces Real Madrid defender Eder Militao. Militao experienced pain in his left thigh during the La Liga match on October 5.
He underwent an examination in São Paulo on Sunday, which revealed a minor muscle injury in his left thigh, ruling him out of Brazil’s two national team matches in October.
